Exceptional ☺ The hotel was luxurious and well maintained and the manager was an absolute diamond who did whatever he could to make our stay more comfortable. Amazing hospitality. There was somewhere safe to store our bicycles and the showers were amazing. Outside in the grounds there is a small lake with seating around it and the possibility of having a fire to sit by, which was a bonus and very convenient while COVID restrictions are still in place. It was very good value and included a full cooked breakfast in the price. All of us are planning to return in the future. Hastings is just down the road for somewhere to eat and the Two Sawyers in Pett did really good pub food. ☹ Nothing really. It’s by a road which you wouldn’t necessarily know from the pictures but that’s a minor detail- There’s hardly any traffic and we all slept well.

Welcoming, cosy and relaxing ☺ Garden and grounds are beautiful. Manager was v friendly and helpful. It was lovely and warm with log fires and a cinema room. The beds were so comfortable and loads of pillows for proper relaxation ☹ The main entrance rooms are a bit over decorated. I was worried the rooms would be the same but they were stylish and simple so its a small thing. But when we first arriived I didnt know what to focus on as was a bit tired and stressed. The hotel is so stylish it doesn't need the extra ornaments. It is a beautiful place to stay and we would go back
