EXCELLENT Based on 803 reviews Posted on Eliot23/07/20259.0Verified Comfortable stay and excellent value for money. ☺ Under new management just recently, with very pleasant and helpful staff. The room was large and comfy, the hotel is crammed with interesting antiques and the breakfast was great. Parking was also free (which doesn't apply everywhere) and the charge for bringing a dog was low. All in all, very good value for money in a good location. ☹ No dog bowl or dog treats in the room despite paying £15 extra - but apart from that, no grumbles at all. Everything was fine and I'd stay there again.Posted on Luisa17/07/20259.0Verified WonderfulPosted on Jacqui16/07/20259.0Verified Lovely place for a short break. ☺ Chad, the manager, and his partner were really welcoming. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the breakfast was freshly cooked and excellent. The public rooms had plenty of comfy furniture where we sat relaxing and looking at the interesting memorabilia on display. Plenty of parking which is always a plus. The grounds were fun to walk round. ☹ It was a pity that evening meals were not available during our stay but hopefully this is only temporary.
EXCELLENT Based on 166 reviews Posted on Eliza Sherwood17/07/2025 What a stay l've had ! Where do l even start? We was firstly welcomed by a lovely gentleman who told us everything we needed to know about the hotel. The room was spotless not a speck of dust in sight. The breakfast was your standard English breakfast but props to the chef it was really lovely. The couple running the hotel were both very welcoming and chatty and made it feel like a home away from home. I hope to see them next time we come and stay. Enjoy your new little venture with the hotelPosted on Luke Bannings12/07/2025 Lovely location, the manager was very friendly and helped with all our needs! Breakfast was served quickly and was very tasty! Room was cleaned everyday and bed was comfy! The hot water went out for a little while but this was sorted quickly by the manager. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend as a good place for a little stay.Posted on Alice Murray08/06/2025 Pleasantly surprised with this little gem in Hastings! We booked a quick trip for the weekend from London and received a phone call before our departure welcoming us and recommending a local place for dinner (lots of little touches like this made all the difference). Excellent customer service, room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was also excellent; and for what we paid it was incredible value for money. The hotel is tucked away but close to nearby bus stop on Rye and peaceful enough for a good nights sleep. Would definitely return again.Posted on Neil Burrows27/04/2025 We didn't stay here but came here for roast dinner, it was lovely and the price was good tooPosted on Lisa M Hogan25/04/2025 I loved this quirky bed and breakfast. It is in an ideal location for exploring Hastings and the surrounding area. The staff are very friendly (thank you Catherine). The rooms are bright and airy and very comfortable. The food was lovely, as a vegetarian I sometimes struggle for catering, however a vegetarian menu was drawn up for me with plenty of choices. The vibe at this place is awesome. I have added a reel to my instagram and am uploading a review to my YouTube page. I loved it that much.
